Reducing Your Seller's Risks Through Proper Listing Practices
Description:
This course is held in conjunction with the Illinois Association of Realtors. This class is scheduled from 5:30pm-9:30pm.
Course Objectives: List the legal and ethical duties to the seller/client; Identify the fiduciary duties owed to a seller/client; Express a clear understanding of State and Federal Laws regarding disclosure; Express a clear understanding of Fair Housing laws; Effectively market a listing and help seller/client in the decision making process; Negotiate for seller when an offer to purchase is received representing the best interest of the seller/client; Identify the legal and ethical requirements when dealing with multiple offers; List the responsibilities in facilitating the offer to purchase through until closing. (Illinois 6 hour Elective RD971; Iowa 12 hour Mandatory for 1st time renewal; Iowa 12 hour Elective for subsequent renewals 069-003PL1)
