Class Name: PATHWAY to becoming a successful Mel Foster agent
Description: This training session starts the agent new to Mel Foster Company on the PATHWAY to a successful career. Topics include Business Planning, the Field Training program, Prospecting, Risk Management, Forms and Buying and Listing Practices. Along with this initial week there will be 11 more one day training courses scheduled to enhance what has been learned through discussion and Q & A sessions, present new topics of interest, and aid in obtaining the degree of professionalism needed to be a successful Mel Foster agent. A calendar of the one day session dates and topics will be available through your Office manager or through the Agent Dev/Education Department.

Class Name: Sales Pre-License Course
Description: This class is scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm-9:30pm with the Iowa students attending one Saturday class from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Upon successful completion of this course the student will qualify to apply for the state licensing exam in their individual state, Iowa or Illinois.
The state requirements at this time are at a minimum 45 hours of classroom attendance for Illinois and 60 hours of classroom attendance for Iowa.
