•Illinois Licensees: Does your Illinois Broker license expire April 30th of 2008? Make note, you need 18 hours of CE to renew your license. 6 hours of Broker Management, at least 6 hours of Core CE and the remaining elective hours.
•Iowa Licensees: Does your Iowa Real Estate license expire in December 2008? Is this your first renewal?

•Illinois Broker Management Course

Recent change in the Illinois Real Estate License Act of 2000 requires Illinois Broker Licensees to complete this 6 hour course along with the 12 hours of current requirements for your May 1,2006 — April 30,2008 renewal period.
This course is intended to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to be an effective real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
The 6 hour CE course is delivered through a combination of lecture, discussion, simulations, and small group formats. There is no “grandfather” provision in the law; therefore, this course will be for all real estate brokers in Illinois. Course content includes; Real Estate Brokerage Licensing; Agency: Agreement and Issues; Escrow and Broker Responsibilities and Office Management; Risk Reduction; and Disciplinary Actions.
