Continuing Education

Mel Foster Company and the Quad City Area REALTOR^® Association have formed a partnership to offer Online Continuing Education courses and Online Pre-license courses.  The online courses will be administered by the Quad City Area REALTOR^® Association's Education Department.  Therefore, all communication and correspondence regarding the courses should be directed to them.   If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Quad City Area REALTOR^® Association at (563) 355-6655, or email to education@qcarealtor.com

FOR IOWA CE
1.  A maximum of 18 hours during a renewal period may be taken by home study for real estate.

2.  You must complete all home study courses (including any retakes of the final examination) within a six-(6) month timeframe.  The date will be recorded on which the course is sent to you or purchased, and your six-(6) month timeframe will begin on that date.

3.   All home study courses require a final examination.  A passing score of 90% is required to receive credit for a course.  There is no limit to the number of times a final exam may be taken to achieve a passing score within the six-month timeframe.

4.   A "Student Verification Form" must be signed and returned with the final exam to receive credit for the course.  Click Here for Student Verification Form.

5.   Once the final exam has been passed and student verification form returned, certificates will then be issued.

FOR ILLINOIS CE - You have 6 months to complete each home study course including the final course exam.  The 6 months will start with the date the course is purchased. 
Upon completion of the course, please send back the Student Verification Form to the Quad City Area REALTOR® Association and CALL or EMAIL to make arrangements to take the proctored final course exam.  A 75% pass rate on the final course exam is required on all home study courses.  Upon achieving a passing score of 75% on the final course exam, you will receive your completion certificate.

Registration policy -
1. Payment must accompany registration
2. License Law requires participants to be on time and present for all classes
3. Cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to class
4. Courses are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment
